What is included in a glamping package?

Each package includes a fully set-up tent complete with beds, linens, lighting, and additional amenities depending on the package chosen, such as a movie projector or a firepit.

 

Do you charge extra for delivery?

The first 20km of roundtrip delivery is included, charging an additional $0.50 per km thereafter. Delivery range is calculated on roundtrips for both set up and take down, and measured from where we depart our storage facility near Mayfair in Victoria B.C.

 

For example, a delivery to Sooke River Campground (Sooke, B.C.) is apx. 70km round trip, leaving 50km for set up and 50km for takedown subject to delivery fees, for a total delivery cost of $50.

Do I need to prepare the site before arrival?

Yes, we ask that we arrive to a clean, level site free of debris and pet waste. For backyards, we ask that the lawn is recently cut.  Our team will handle all the setup and takedown of the glamping site, ensuring everything is ready for your arrival.

 

Can I customize my glamping experience?

Absolutely! We offer various add-ons like Polaroid cameras, bistro tables, and even large screens for movie nights. Customize your experience to suit your event or preferences.

 

What should I bring to my glamping trip?

We recommend bringing personal items and any specific food or drinks you desire. Most other necessities are provided in your glamping package.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, so we offer a flexible cancellation policy. 
 

Cancellation Terms:

• More than 7 days before arrival: fully refundable minus a $50 service fee. 

• Between 6 days and 72 hours before arrival: 50% of the full booking fee is refundable. 

• Less than 72 hours before arrival: All payments are nonrefundable.

Do you allow pets?

We love pets! To maintain the quality of our tents, pets are not permitted inside them. They are welcome to enjoy the outdoors with you during your stay but must sleep elsewhere. Please be aware that any damage caused by pets to the tents may result in a charge for repairs or replacement, which can exceed $2,000 per tent.

 

Do you provide campsites?

No.

 

We provide full service equipment rentals at your campsite, be it in your own backyard or on private land elsewhere. Guests are responsible for securing an appropriate and legal campsite prior to booking. Note that at this time, Island Glamping Adventures is not allowed to operate in provincial parks. We are awaiting a permit for Goldstream Provincial Park.
